TTONN :
The
Signature TTONN actually comes from my full name "Tan
Teng Onn", genially people call me Onn. I was working
as a designer for nearly 9 years before come to New Zealand.
Been into many different design industry, from graphic,
web, fashion to interior, even working in a short period
of time in film editing. After all those years of work,
I finally decide to leave the position as a designer in
2007 to be an artist that can do what I really like and
always wanted to do.
Nothing
really special about me, I am just another person that
likes color and creating. I did won couple awards during
school time. I love doing art and since I am not a good
writer in words sometime I try to tell a story by color
and picture. Most of the time to start a painting is more
like writing a diary for me. I have my very own reason
or story for each painting. When people look at it, they
may not know what I am trying to tell but sometimes they
do feel it, and this is what I have been waiting for.
Joined
as a member of St Albans Art Society on 2009, and become
a committee member for St Albans Art Society in the same
year. I have to say thank you very much for all the members’
support.
